The Project
ACOEC (Asociación para la Cooperación entre Comunidades) is a Spanish development NGO working in international cooperation. In September 2023, they launched a local awareness project focused on four interconnected themes: social and solidarity economy, ethical finance, ecofeminism and feminist economics, and critical consumption.
The goal was to make existing educational content accessible online — giving the campaign a clear, navigable digital home.
Scope & Responsibilities
Web content adaptation: ACOEC provided the infographics and visual materials already developed for the campaign. My role was to translate that content into a structured web format — adapting the information architecture, copy and visual layout so the material worked as a website rather than a standalone graphic.
Coordination: Managed the project through a series of coordination meetings with the organisation, ensuring the final result aligned with their communication objectives and the tone of the campaign.
What This Project Demonstrates
Not every project is large-scale. This one was deliberately scoped, fast-turnaround and output-focused — and delivering it well required understanding quickly what the organisation needed and adapting existing materials without losing their intent.
It also reflects a practical skill: knowing how content that works in one format (infographic) needs to be restructured to work in another (web), rather than simply transposing it.
Impact
- Website delivered within a focused, short-turnaround project timeline
- Educational content on 4 thematic areas made accessible in digital format
- Coordination with organisational team from brief to delivery
