The Project
CVONGD (Coordinadora Valenciana d’ONGD) is the umbrella body coordinating NGOs working in international development and cooperation across the Valencia region — one of the most relevant civil society institutions in the Valencian third sector.
In July 2023, they commissioned a set of design templates to standardise the visual presentation of their communications outputs: reports, social media content, presentations and other recurring materials.
Scope & Responsibilities
Template design: Created a complete set of reusable design templates covering the organisation’s main communication formats — ensuring visual consistency across documents, presentations and digital content without requiring design expertise from the team using them.
Client coordination: Managed several meetings with CVONGD’s communications lead throughout the project — aligning on scope, reviewing drafts and refining the final deliverables to match both the organisation’s brand and the practical needs of their team.
What This Project Demonstrates
A template system is a quiet but high-impact communications tool. Done well, it removes friction from day-to-day content production and ensures that an organisation’s visual identity holds up over time — regardless of who is producing the materials.
Working with an umbrella organisation like CVONGD also meant understanding that the templates would be used across a wide range of contexts and by people with varying levels of design familiarity. Simplicity and adaptability were as important as visual quality.
Impact
- Full set of communication templates delivered for a leading Valencian civil society institution
- Templates designed for practical, autonomous use by non-design staff
- Project delivered on scope and timeline through coordinated client meetings
