The Project
With Your Own Voice was a 2-year European Union funded project bringing together 6 partner organisations across Spain, Greece, Italy and Portugal — with the shared goal of amplifying underrepresented voices through participatory communication methodologies.
My role covered the full communications lifecycle: strategy, coordination, reporting, training and digital presence.
Scope & Responsibilities
Partner coordination: Managed ongoing communication and alignment across 24 partner representatives from 6 organisations in 4 countries — in English and Spanish. Coordinating across time zones, institutional cultures and funding requirements demanded both precision and adaptability.
Logistics & workshop coordination: Organised and managed travel and on-site logistics for workshop sessions across 4 locations in 3 countries, coordinating a team of 5 facilitators and ensuring smooth delivery across institutional and cultural contexts.
KPI reporting & EU compliance: Designed and maintained the project’s KPI tracking framework across all activity areas. Consolidated multi-source data into structured Excel reporting for quarterly submissions to the funding agency — translating complex programme activity into the metrics and narrative format required by EU reporting standards.
Workshop facilitation: Designed and delivered training sessions for 100+ participants across partner countries. Sessions focused on participatory communication, voice and self-representation.
Brand & visual communication: Developed the project’s visual identity and coordinated the production of impact videos — ensuring consistent brand application across all partner organisations and communication materials.
Web development & content: Built and maintained the project website in WordPress — responsible for information architecture, content strategy and multilingual content management throughout the 2-year programme.
Narrative & documentation: Wrote all justification reports, activity summaries and stakeholder communications. Managed the editorial process and content review of the project’s educational guide — ensuring accuracy, tone and alignment with programme objectives.
What This Project Demonstrates
With Your Own Voice is evidence of what communications strategy looks like at scale — not campaigns, but sustained coordination across institutions, languages and reporting requirements over two years.
It also illustrates a core part of my professional approach: data without narrative doesn’t drive decisions, and narrative without data doesn’t hold up to scrutiny. Every report submitted to the funding agency had to balance both — and so did every workshop, every stakeholder update, and every page of the website.
